Real Stone Texture Paint System

Real Stone Texture Paint System: a water-based real stone texture paint system for exterior walls, available in 34 standard colours. Natural coloured stone granules bound in an acrylic emulsion give walls the look and feel of granite or sandstone at a fraction of the weight and cost of stone cladding.

System build-up:

Layer 1 – alkali-resistant sealer primer (clear): 5566C-1301, 20 kg pail, approx. 0.12 kg/m², 1 coat, touch-dry 2 h

Layer 2 – black base coat: 5566X-1301, 20 kg pail, approx. 0.12 kg/m², 1 coat, touch-dry 2 h

Layer 3 – real stone texture coat: 5566W-16, 40 kg pail, approx. 4 kg/m², 1 coat (spray), emulsion content 13%, solids approx. 81%, pH 8.5, viscosity approx. 200 KU, dry 3–24 h

Layer 4 – clear protective topcoat: 5566C-1501C, 20 kg pail, approx. 0.10 kg/m², 1 coat, touch-dry 2 h

Custom colours can be matched to a sample; slight colour differences between screen and product are normal, so approve colours on a physical sample panel.

Application: clean, dry and sound substrate; apply each layer in order and let it dry before the next. Consumption depends on substrate and finish, so confirm rates on a sample panel.
