Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between toluene and xylene as solvents?
Both are aromatic solvents. Toluene evaporates faster and is used in fast-drying paints, adhesives and thinners; xylene evaporates more slowly, which improves flow and levelling in coatings and is preferred in many industrial paint systems.
Is xylene also available as a petrochemical feedstock?
Yes. Mixed xylenes and para-xylene used as feedstocks are listed under Aromatics in Petrochemical Raw Materials.
Do you show chemical prices on the website?
No. Chemical prices move with feedstock markets and depend on grade, purity, packaging, quantity, Incoterms and destination. Send your requirement and PANDA COLLECTIONS will reply with a customised quotation.
