Which syringe barrel colour should I use?

Clear for general fluids, amber to block UV, black for UV and light-curing adhesives, and blue for ESD-controlled areas.

Can I mix barrels and pistons from different makers?

It is not recommended. Use barrels and pistons from the same maker to ensure a correct fit and avoid leakage or blow-by.
