Rebuild Review
What this local rebuild demonstrates
A WordPress/WooCommerce catalogue, editable pages and products, search, quote selection, local enquiry storage, staff status management, CSV export and a local notification catcher.
Content to review
- Clearly labelled sample products demonstrate the interface. No live product export has been supplied.
- Projects, client logos and Insights remain unpublished until approved content is available.
- Ten full service drafts (464–491 words each), nine distinct industry drafts and page-specific FAQ answers are ready for approval. Website notes, detailed RFQ fields and privacy wording remain pending.
- Product Development is included by the requirements document; its detailed scope needs business confirmation.
- Six verified reasons to choose PANDA COLLECTIONS are used. The requested seventh reason is missing.
Access still needed
Production backup and catalogue export, a clean staging environment, approved email delivery settings, analytics identifiers, hosting performance tests and the production security investigation.
Verification and remaining work
The local checks cover catalogue routes, search, filters, pagination, enquiry validation, attachment restrictions, duplicate prevention, staff permissions, CSV tools and notification failure recovery. The staff-created sample product demonstrates editing in WordPress.
Local performance improved after removing unused shop scripts and adding a restricted public-page cache. In the same 1280-pixel unthrottled desktop browser, homepage LCP changed from 2.940 to 0.188 seconds, machinery from 3.628 to 0.188 seconds and a product from 2.612 to 0.160 seconds. The after readings use a warmed server cache; each is a single local observation, not a PageSpeed score or production result. Cold-cache response, field INP, production load and hosting/CDN configuration still need acceptance testing.
Fresh real browser viewport checks passed at 320, 390, 768 and 1440 pixels across key templates with no horizontal overflow. A 320-pixel attachment selection, preview and local save were exercised with a fictional PNG; its authenticated staff download matched the original file. Physical iOS/Android tests remain outstanding.
The migration file contains 32 proposed mappings taken from the written brief. It is not the complete 117-category inventory. Public child sitemaps rejected retrieval; an authorised export is required to reconcile 713 versus 1,231 products, map tags and identify exact spam URLs.
Current acceptance status
- Independently tested locally: draft page structure and word counts, relevant FAQs, catalogue/search/filter/pagination routes, quotation selection and saving, staff editing/status/export, permissions, attachment restrictions, duplicate prevention and local notification recovery.
- Implemented but not yet verified: full host restore, real catalogue scale, and production sitemap eligibility with genuine imported products.
- Awaiting client content or access: approval of draft business copy; genuine product export and full old-URL inventory; website notes; Projects, client-logo permissions and Insights; final enquiry/privacy requirements.
- Production-only work outstanding: compromise investigation, backed-up migration, live delivery, analytics receipt, hosting/cache/security acceptance, physical-device tests and authorised launch.
How to review
- Browse Products & Solutions and try machinery filters.
- Add sample products, change quantities and remove a selection in the quote list.
- Complete Request a Quote with fictional details, preview, then save the local test enquiry.
- Sign into the staff area using the separate local access file. Review the enquiry and email catcher.
- Edit a product in WooCommerce and refresh its public detail page.
Detailed requirements, migration, testing, operational and launch notes accompany the project in its docs folder. Local robots directives block indexing. Nothing has been deployed.
