Heat-Resistant Stainless Steels

Heat-resistant stainless steels are high-chromium, high-nickel austenitic steels that resist oxidation and scaling at temperatures up to about 1150 °C. The range covers 310S, silicon-bearing 314 (2Cr25Ni20Si2), 309S and titanium-stabilised 321, supplied as round bar, mesh-belt wire, wire and refractory anchors for furnaces, kilns and boilers.

Key features

  • 310S and 314 for service up to about 1150 °C
  • 309S for repeated heating up to about 980 °C
  • 321 titanium-stabilised against intergranular corrosion
  • Bar, wire, mesh-belt wire and refractory anchors
  • ASTM A276 / A580 / A240 comparable grades

Standards & documents: ASTM / AMS / AWS / GB product standards as listed per product; EN 10204 3.1 mill test certificates, heat traceability, ESR/VAR melting and NDT confirmed per enquiry. Pricing: on request – customised quotation.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between 310S and 314 stainless steel?

Both are 25Cr-20Ni austenitic steels; 314 adds about 2 % silicon for better oxidation resistance, while 310S has lower carbon and better weldability.

Which stainless steel is used for furnace mesh belts?

314 is commonly woven into furnace mesh belts because of its high oxidation resistance; 310S is also used.

Do you show prices on the website?

No. Prices depend on grade, size, quantity, melting route, testing and certificates. Request a quote with the product codes and requirements, and PANDA COLLECTIONS will reply with a customised quotation.
